Our VOC Centres

Our Voice of the Child (VOC) Centres are dedicated to ensuring that children's perspectives and needs are heard and valued in all matters affecting their lives. These centres serve as safe, child-friendly environments where trained Voice of the Child Professionals facilitate the expression of children's views. Our goal is to provide a platform for children to share their thoughts, feelings, and experiences, ensuring that their voices are integral to decision-making processes in family disputes.

At our VOC Centres, we have a child-focused approach, ensuring that each child's voice is heard in a respectful and supportive manner. This is achieved through various methods such as interviews, art, play, and other age-appropriate techniques that help them express themselves freely and honestly. By incorporating the insights gained from these sessions, we aim to improve the outcomes of mediation, always keeping the best interests of the child at the forefront.

Our centres also provide resources and training for Professionals to better understand and support the needs and rights of children. By fostering a collaborative environment, we strive to empower children, give them a sense of agency, and ensure that their voices contribute meaningfully to the decisions that shape their lives.

Voice of the Child Centres and Voice of the Child Practitioners

The primary purpose of a Voice of the Child Centre is to ensure that children’s voices are not just heard, but genuinely listened to and feedback is given to the parents in a mediation VOC feedback session. These centres are designed to provide a child-friendly environment where children can express their feelings, thoughts, and preferences without the pressure of adult expectations or conflict.

The centres work within a MediationWorx Hub. While a Voice of the Child Centre focuses exclusively on the needs and perspectives of children, a MediationWorx Hub offers comprehensive mediation services that cater to various services like parenting plans, co-parenting classes and after-divorce support.
